Wozniacki drew Kuznetsova and ranked first 6.09.2011

World No. 1 Carolina Wozniacki is qualified for the quarterfinals of the US Open, after Svetlana Kuznetsova beat after the turn. Dane came to triumph after 3 hours of play, finishing 6-7, 7-5, 6-1.

In the first set, Kuznetsova pulled to 6-5 in the first set but lost the initiative and Wozniacki reached the tiebreak, which led 5-2. Ultimately Kuznetsova won the tiebreak and led in the second part. Dane, however, revived and evened the score - 7:5.

In the third set of excellent physical fitness Wozniacki said their word and she easily defeated Kuznetsova 6-1.

The quarter, Dane will argue with Andrea Petkovic of Germany.
