First victory for Georgi Mladenov, head of Beroe 6.10.2011

Host Beroe beat Spartak Pleven 83:70 in the second match day of the Four Basketball Tournament for Men in Stara Zagora. This was the first win for new coach Georgi Mladenov team.

The match began with a slight advantage of Pleven, Beroe but gradually leveled after several changes of leadership pulled the hosts with 50:48 advance of the holiday.

The meeting was largely decided in the first six minutes of the third quarter when after a series of 15:3 beroytsi led with 65:51.

Hopes for a reversal of the guests were finally suspended at the beginning of the fourth part. For four minutes Pleven failed to realize basket, while the hosts scored 9 points and advance them reached 22 points in 81:59.

Sergei Tsvetkov was most useful for Beroe with 16 points, Milen Dimitrov added 14 points and 6 rebounds, Peter Zagorov finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Plnimir Bay was marked by 11 points and 9 assists.

Stanislav Slaveykov was leader of the Spartak with 16 points and 6 rebounds. 14 points and added 7 rebounds Ilia Stankov, but with 13 points and 5 assists end Simeon Tsenov.

In the first meeting today Chernomorets have dramatically over the Black Sea with 75:72. With the success Burgas citizens topped the standings with a full asset of two victories before their last match against Spartak tomorrow at 17:00.

Beroe and the Black Sea close race between them and the meeting starts at 19.15 hours.
