Pironkova start with victory in Moscow 18.10.2011

Tsvetana Pironkova record victory at the start of the 22nd edition of the tournament in Moscow, "Kremlin Cup".

Pironkova is the second round of the competition with a prize of 721,000 dollars, after the success of Croatian Petra Martic over only 29 minutes. Pironkova won the first set 6-1, but then her opponent retired due to injury.

This was the second victory of the Bulgarian Martic over the two matches between them and the next round Pironkova will play the winner of the match between Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia and Alize Cornet of France.
