Cup "Davis" comes to Bulgaria next year 3.11.2011

Bulgarian Tennis Federation received another great recognition - in 2012, Sofia will host the World Championship Cup "Davis."

Meetings of the Group 3 area of ​​Europe will be held in the Bulgarian National Tennis Centre "Carlsberg" at the end of April and will oppose the national teams of Bulgaria and 12 countries.

In Sofia, the teams will arrive in Lithuania, Greece, Norway, Macedonia, Montenegro, Armenia, Iceland, Andorra, Georgia, San Marino, Malta, Albania. According to the rules the first two teams in the final standings will climb in group 2.

Household Cup "Davis" will be the first of many significant events in the country next year. Sofia will host a tournament champion WTA, at home in July will be held the European Championship for veterans with the participation of 500 athletes and first-class tournament for boys and girls up to 16 years.

Cup "Davis" will be the first major event in the Bulgarian National Tennis Centre "Carlsberg" after its renovation in the winter.
