Briton Andy Murray recorded a consecutive 21-win and qualify for third round of the Masters tournament in Paris, beating 6-2, 6-4 representative hosts Jeremy Chardin. Placed second in the scheme Murray loses to Nadal in last of the US Open, as of mid-August before winning 26 of 27 is his game.

Ferrer won the fourth set 6-4, 6-4 Nicolas Mayu (France), while Tipsarevic was even more explicit and give only one game Alex Bogomolov (USA), winning 6-1, 6-0. Troicki did beat Sergei Stahovski of Ukraine 6-4, 6-4.
