The owners of teams in NBA basketball and finished his last talks with a proposal to be voted by the players and if adopted, will allow the season with 72 games to start on 15 December.

"Labour Relations Committee made a proposal to improve the players' union in an attempt to respond to meet their expectations in the best possible way," said NBA Commissioner David Stern.

"We did it in the context of the opportunity to have a season with 72 games to start on 15 December," he added. Union of basketball, hoping to change some non-points after it agreed to reduce their willingness to accept 52.5% of revenues in the NBA.

"Right now we have improved offer from the NBA. Does not satisfy us completely," said union chief Derek Fisher. "Obviously we want to continue negotiations and find a way to make a deal. But now it is time for this," he added.

Stern added that if players do not accept the latest offer, it will change to not much more advantageous 53 to 47 percent gains in favor of the bosses of the teams. "We'll be back as the executive committee and will make a decision about our next steps," said the Commissioner.
