Germany may apply for hosting the Euro 2020 1.07.2012

Germany is considering a candidate for hosting the European Football Championship in 2020, said in an interview for "Kicker" the president of the Football Union of the country Wolfgang Nirsbah.

Executive Committee of the AFA will consider at his meeting on 27 April.

The deadline for applications of those who want tp organize Euro 2020 is May 15th this year.

UEFA will select the host of the continental championship at the end of 2013 or early 2014.

Germany was hosting the finals of European Football Championship in 1988.

Turkey also expressed the wish to take the Euro Finals in 2020.
