Surprising separation at the wrong time happen in Liverpool. The sporting director Damien Comolli left his post and the news was confirmed by the official website of "The Red".
"We appreciate all the efforts which Damien put and on behalf of everyone in Liverpool we wish him all the best" said team owner John Henry.
"We must move forward. Over the weekend we have a big game. At this point it is important for all to express support to the manager Kenny Dalglish and concentrate in the last matches of the season" said the President of Poole Tom Werner.
Comolli himself even said that the reasons for the separation are personal. "I'm happy for the chance and the confidence that gave me a club like Liverpool. Now I'm returning to France because of family reasons" said the former already sports director of "The Red" .
On Saturday, Liverpool will face Everton in the semi-final clash in the FA Cup. This season 'The Red' already have secured one titleafter winning the League Cup - "Carling Cup".
