Liverpool steal 16 year old talent under the nose of Manchester City 2.07.2012

Liverpool beat Manchester City and managed to sign with one of the most promising young talents on the island Dan Smith.

Adolescents of Crewe Alekzandra will leave his home team for 300 thousand pounds, to pass at "Anfield" from next season. The 16 year old is the next hope that comes from a very productive school of the club, who currently is competing in the third echelon of English football.

Former Liverpool star Rob Jones and Danny Murphy also began their careers in Crewe Alekzandra before putting on the red team.

Smith, who is the school of the third division team from the age of 11, was before transfer to Manchester City last month, but the deal fell.
