UEFA President Michel Platini gave the cup of Champions League at Hall in Munich where on May 19 will happen the final of this year's most prestigious European club football tournament.
The official ceremony of the transfer of the bowl to the authorities of the Bavarian capital attended Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bayern / Munich / Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and the new president of the German Football Association Wolfgang Nirsbah.
"This ceremony symbolizes the beginning of the finals" said Michel Platini, giving the cup to Munich mayor. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge remembered how on 20 years old has won the European Cup as a player of Bayern Munich.
"I already held her in 1976, said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. I wish to the fans and to Bayern to qualify for the finals and to reach our brilliant dream."
