European champion from the Netherlands took the most popular team in Mexico 2.07.2012

Former Dutch national John van 't Schip was appointed as head coach of the most popular Mexican team Chivas Guadalajara.

48-year-Vant Schip replaces in the post Ignacio Ambris, who resigned last week after the appointment of Johan Cruyff as a consultant to the team. Cruyff has recommended Ship as coach of Chivas.

Van 't Schip, former player of Ajax and Genoa is part of a large team of Holland, who won the European title in 1988.

As a coach, the Dutchman was assistant in the teams of Holland and Ajax, he guided also Twente and the Australian Melbourne Heart.
