So far unseen case delayed the celebrations of the Swiss football club FC Basel, who won the local championship after victory with 3:0 over Zion on Sunday.
The reason for the cancellation of the festivities is appeal of Lucerne, which is second in the standings with 15 points liability against the leaders and by the end there are still only five games.
According to the management of Lucerne, the club must win automatically three points from game against Zion in September, when the two teams finished with 1:1 draw.
A little later Zion was punished by withdrawal of 36 points for illegal use of football in matches, including against Lucerne.
"We will celebrate the title if Lucerne fails to catch up in the next five games, possibly will be added two points from the sports tribunal," said Basel before the game.
