Boca Juniors stays at the top of the elite, River Plate with a key victory in the Second Division 2.07.2012

The champion Boca Juniors keep the the leadership position in the Argentine championship "Clausura" after 1:1 draw with Belgrano.

Boca have 21 points from 11 rounds, but can be shifted from the top from Nyuuels Old Boys, which is one point and tonight will play with Arsenal.

Belgrano lead with a goal by Matias Jimenez in 23rd minute, but Walter Erwin equalize shortly after the break for Boca.

The other Grand River Plate, who this season for the first time in their history goes in the second division, achieved an important victory over the Instituto in the battle of returning to the elite.

In front of 55,000 spectators at Monumental Stadium River came to little success with 1:0 after a goal of the former French international David Trezeguet.

So River Plate reduce the difference to the leader Instituto, with only one the point.
