Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish confirmed that he can't count on the midfielder Charlie Adam to the end of the season in England.

The Scottish National received a knee injury in the dramatic victory with 3:2 over Queens Park Rangers in March, and then he hasn't played.

There is no needs a surgery but he will be off the pitch until the end of the season" said Dalglish before the visit of Norwich on Saturday.

In practice, Charlie Adam will miss five games - the four by the end of the Premier League and finals of the FA Cup against Chelsea at Wembley on May 5.

It is not yet clear whether Adam will be in line for London 2012, where he has ambitions to participate in the unions of Great Britain football team.
