In the camp of Chelsea can breathe a little more calm before the Champions League final against Bayern Munich after it became clear that David Lewis and Gary Cahill will be able to participate in the match at "Allianz Arena".
The initial predictions for both were not good, and both may have missed the decisive meeting in the Bavarian capital because of injuries in the knees. Lewis left early in the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham and limped while Cahill was replaced forcibly against Barcelona last Tuesday.
Both are prepared by individual programs and trained with his teammates. At the last activity, however, both have made a few chassis exercises, Lewis may return for another FA Cup final against Liverpool on Saturday.
Londoners manager Roberto Di Matteo, however, was adamant that neither of them will not be in line for tomorrow's match against Newcastle, but said that Cahill and Lewis will recover from their injuries "sooner rather than later."
