The teams of Villarreal and Granada have made decisive steps in their struggle for survival in La Liga, having achieved victories in their games postponed from the 20th round.
"Yellow Submarine" managed to take three points as guests to Sporting Gijon with 3:2. Gaspard opened for Villarreal in the 19th minute and Laura equalized in the 39th minute. Marcos Senna gave new advance of the guests from the penalty spot at the end of the first part. Perez did double the advance of Villarreal in a 56-minute and late in the game Galvez gives the final form 2:3.
Granada had with 2:1 over Espanyol thanks to goals from Igal in the first half. Didak scored for Barcelona the honorary goal in 54th minute.
So in the standings Granada and Villarreal climbed to 14th and 15th place respectively with 42 and 41 points on 7 of the relegation zone.
