United allows Giggs to play in London 2012

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has allowed Ryan Giggs to play in the Olympics in London in the summer, wrote "The Sun".

38-year-old midfielder had never played on a big tournament with the national team of Wales which never managed to qualify and now can take one of three quotas for players aged over 23 years.

Therefore, Ferguson has allowed Giggs to join in the unions team of Britain for London 2012, which will be led by Stuart Pearce.

However, Sir Alex has disallowed to his other stars over 23 years to play in British team for the Summer Olympics, as it comes to Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans.

The mentor of United will not stop the young Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, which fall within the basic requirement for the Olympics football tournament - be up to 23 years.

The condition that they may participate in London 2012, however is to have been dropped out previously by the team of England for Euro 2012 because participation of two summer conference with the national team would totally throw some preparation for the new season in the Premier League.
