Nistelrooy played his last match 4.07.2012

Ruud Van Nistelrooy announced his decision to hang up the boots of the nail in the summer. The Dutch forward will not continue his contract with Malaga.

"Yesterday I played the last game in my professional career. The time to put an end has came. The limit of my physical form came. I can not play at such a high level, "said Van Nistelrooy.

"I am proud that I managed to win individual and team awards. But most happy has made me that I worked day after day, year after year" said the former Manchester United ace in a press conference.

Van Nistelrooy thanks to all clubs where he worked in years, his friends, family and fans.
