Puyol started training two days after being operated 4.07.2012

Barcelona defender Carles Puyol started training just two days after having undergone successful surgery on his right knee.

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol was discharged from hospital on Sunday and yesteday started rehabilitation training.

Puyol received an injury during a league game against Espanyol, when Barcelona won categorically with 4:0. The injury was more severe than originally anticipated and had defender undergo surgery.

Carles Puyol will miss the upcoming European Championships in Ukraine and Poland.
