Vasili Berezutskiy will miss Euro 2012 4.07.2012

The defender Vasili Berezutskiy will miss Euro 2012 after injuring his thigh, said the coach of the Russian national team Dick Advocaat.

"Berezutskiy won't be able to play in the tournament. The bruising will not allow him to recover in time for the European Championship. Unfortunately, his injury was more serious than expected" said Advocaat.

The Dutch specialist will leave out of the team the midfielder Marat Ismaylov from Sporting Lisbon.

At the start of Euro 2012 Russia plays with the Czech Republic.
