Atletico Madrid attracted Emre Belozoglu 5.07.2012

Atletico Madrid attract the Turkish midfielder Emre Belozoglu from Fenerbahce on a free transfer, reported the Spanish club. 31-year Emre will play for local residents in the next two seasons.

Previously the midfielder wears the kits of Galatasaray, Newcastle United and Inter Milan. The Turk is the second new addition to Atletico during the summer break. Earlier today, they officially announced the transfer of the Uruguayan forward Cristian Rodriguez from Porto.

"Emre has all the qualities necessary to triumph with the team. He has shown repeatedly what character he has. His stay in some of the best teams in Europe gave him excellent experience. Emre was incredible in many games," said Arda Turan, who is countryman of Emre and last season wear the kit for Atletico Madrid.
