Terry punished for three matches from European tournaments, misses the match for the European Super Cup

Chelsea captain John Terry was suspended to miss two more matches from European competitions because of a red card against Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League semifinals. UEFA Disciplinary Committee decided that the central defender intentionally hit with his knee in the back of the Barca forward Alexis Sanchez in the game at "Camp Nou" in April. Terry has already endured the first game of his punishment by not playing in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich. The additional penalty means that the English national will miss and the match for the European Super Cup against Atletico Madrid, which will be played in Monaco in August. He will also miss the first game of his team from next season's Champions League, where "the blues" qualified thanks to his triumph in Munich.
