Bierhoff: Our second matches in the group will be different 6.07.2012

The second matches of Germany's major tournaments are very difficult, said the German team manager Oliver Bierhoff. In Euro 2008 the Bundesteam lost from Croatia, and in the 2010 World Cup Germans fell from Serbia. Despite the defeats Germany managed to qualify for the phase of direct elimination.

"I expect and hope that second game to be different from our last two matches of the second the big leagues. We should not be placed under stress before our third match of group stage of Euro 2012," said Bierhoff.

In November, Germany beat the Netherlands with 3:0 in a friendly match.
