The German football club will release the former Köln forward Litex - Milivoje Novakovic, reported the local news agency DPA. According to the information the second division club will cut its budget and will release as
free agent the high-priced stars Novakovich, the captain Pedro Jerome, Martin Lanig, Sasha Riyter and Michael Renzing.
"Köln have to cut its staff seriously. From next season we will endeavor to make a mixture of young and experienced players to adapt to significant budget reductions in the second division. The cuts are really compelling, "said the team CEO Jorg Jacobs.
Most players of Köln are currently on vacation but will return to the team for the first camp to be held from 18 to 22 June. According to Jacobs, the club can release up to 13 players, but they will have no trouble finding a new club:
"These players have great qualities and will find new teams. We will not prevent them. "
