Croatia will copy the Spaniards against Italy

6.07.2012

Croatia coach - Slaven Bilic will try to copy the tactics of Italy's match against Spain for the last round of matches in the group stage of Euro 2012 against the Spaniards today.

Italy drew 1:1 draw against world and European champion Spain in a thrilling match last week. The Italians impressed as in large periods of the game dictating the events on the pitch.

"We play best against big teams. Italy showed game what exactly I want to see of my team today against Spain," said Bilic.

The coach can count on the attacker Nikica Jelavic, who missed practice yesterday because of viral disease. Jelavic, however, will be recovered for the meeting today.

This means that probably the breeder will rely on the same lineup in his third straight game in groups.

Spain and Croatia have 4 points and in draw or win today the Croats will continue into the next phase. Even in loss, Croatia can be ranked ahead if Italy did not win against Ireland.

"I believe the Irish will help us. They are such people who will not be happy if they leave from the European Championship with three losses," said Slaven Bilic.
