Serse Cosmi took Siena 7.07.2012

Serse Cosmi has been appointed as head coach of the prestigious Italian football club Siena.

54-year-old replaced the post of Giuseppe Sanino, who resigned after the season to take Palermo.

Cosmi was the coach of Lecce in the last campaign, but failed to save the team from relegation in the "B".

In his coaching career in 1990 he led another eight other Italian clubs including Genoa, Udinese, Brescia, Livorno and Palermo.
