Wenger: We will keep Van Persie at any cost 7.07.2012

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger broke his silence on the future of Robin van Persie, vowing to remain captain of the team "at any cost." It is expected this week to conduct two telephone conversation to discuss the possible new contract with the Dutch national.

"We want to keep Robin van Persie at any price because we are very dependent on him," Wenger said in his blog at Eurosport.

"I always supported him, even in difficult moments and I hope he will stay at Arsenal until the end of his career," added the expert.

Robin van Persie is on well-deserved vacantion after a long season in England, and the failure performance of of the Netherlands at Euro 2012.
