Fabio Capello is one of the favorites for a new head coach of Russian national football team, said La Repubblica. The Italian, along with three eminent specialists are in the main list to replace Dick Advocaat. Decision will be taken until July 20.
66-year-old Capello is without a job after leaving the same position in England in February. He chooses not to return to the club team and is now free to take other national team.
The Russian Football Union seeks new coach to replace Dick Advocaat, who returned home to take over PSV. Headquarters needs a new president on the recommendation of Vitali Mutko, sports minister.
Today should be a date for the election of a president, then immediately to appoint a coach, but it must be before July 20.
Capello compete with Valerie Gazaev, Nicholas and Alexander Borodyuk Pisarevo.
