Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was invited to watch the training of the European and world champion Spain at the time to discuss the various coaching methods with Vicente del Bosque.
39-year-manager, who replaced the dismissed Kenny Daleglish head of Liverpool, was planning to visit the training camp of "la fury" before Euro 2012, but just then was appointed as coach of the club and his visit failed.
Now, Rogers has received a new invitation from the Spanish side, which will allow him to refine the methods that will try to apply to "Anfield".
"It's hard to find an available date, but Brandon has an open invitation to meet with Del Bosque and observe how is cooking the Spanish National team," said a source close to the 'reds'. "He will probably accept the invitation at some point because Brandon likes to talk about the game, especially with people who are doing very well in it."
