Barclays remains the sponsor of the Premier League until 2016 13.07.2012

The British Bank "Barclays" has signed a new three-year contract as sponsor of the Premier League. The value of the transaction, which shall enter into force by 2013 and to 2016's, for a total of 185 million dollars (or about $ 62 million per year).

The deal happened just a week after Barclays was fined by U.S. and British regulatory authorities with a record 453 million dollars.
