Sir Alex advised Chicharito to make a super season

31.07.2012

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he expects this season Javier Hernandez to return to his familiar top form.

Mexican national arrived at "Old Trafford" from Guadalajara in 2010 and immediately had a tremendous impact on the team, scoring 20 goals in all competitions. Last campaign, however, was not so good for the attacker after being shifted from Danny Welbeck in the lineup.

The main reason for frequent injuries were not allowed Chicharito to get in shape, now Ferguson is confident the player will use the best way from their summer vacation. "I think this season will see a better Chicharito" said the Scottish professional. "Over the last four or fifth years he played constantly in the summer. This year, with the cooperation of Mexico, he will get adequate rest. And it began in May when I decided not to take him in Belfast for the jubilee game in honor of Harry Gregg."

"We wanted to provide him with maximum recovery time. He received a few weeks rest, then joined the national team for qualifying matches, then they went back to rest, "said Ferguson.

"It was important to him and I am sure he will benefit. We have already seen the result in the first training and I think he will do a great season, "added Sir Alex.
