Official: Mascherano in Barca to 2016 31.07.2012

Javier Mascherano today renewed his contract with Barcelona. The footballer will remain at "Camp Nou" until 2016.

The current contract with the Argentine club expired in 2014. The new contract of Macerata contains a clause for redemption, which amount to 100 million.

At the event was attended personally Barca president Sandro Rosen.
