Koentrao punished for four games and Villanova for two

Real Madrid defender Fabio Koentrao receive a punishment of four games for the Liga, while Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova was sanctioned for two meetings.

The Royal Club defender was dismissed for insulting the chief judge in the match against Getafe (1:2). The Portuguese received a red card while he was on the bench for an offense to the referee. Koentrao was sent off in the 88th minute. Despite the red card, Koentrao will have no problem to play against Barcelona on Wednesday in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup. His punishment will only apply to the matches from La Liga.

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova, who was also expelled from the technical area in a match against Osasuna (2:1), was disqualified from two matches.

The 42 years old will be able to lead the composition from the bench in the match against Valencia and Getafe.
