Swedish football player died on the field 3.09.2012

29 years Swedish player died of a heart attack received during the domestic championship match.

Victor Branstryom scored for Pitea against Umedalen, but seconds after that he collapsed on the pitch of the game from Northern regional Swedish League. Doctor and nurse immediately tried to save the life of the player, but he died several hours later at a local hospital.

"This is tragic. This is the worst thing that I never expected," said Christer Berglund, vice president of Piteå.
