Nemanja Vidic out for two new months 26.09.2012

The captain of Manchester United Nemanja Vidic is out for the next eight weeks. The reason is a new knee surgery, informed BBC Sport.

The Serbian defender missed the visit to Liverpool, having complained that the knee of the right leg stretched him. Additional tests, however, showed a larger problem. The solution was a new operation that has been completed, informed prestigious media.

The 30 years old missed the last five months of last season due to a severe knee injury received in a Champions League match against Basel.

"Nemanja has undergone surgery on the meniscus of his right leg and will be out in the next eight weeks," says the official website of Manchester United.
