Serena Williams misses the tournament in Beijing 28.09.2012

Serena Williams will not participate in the Open tennis tournament in China, organizers said. The reason for the refusal of American is a viral disease.

"This is a huge disappointment for us. Hopefully Serena Williams is fine as soon as possible", said the organizers of the strong tournament. Her place will be taken by Switzerland's Romina Orandi. It will begin participating in qualifying rounds on Saturday.

"To get sick from flu is not so nice," Williams wrote in his personal profile on social networking site Twitter. A year ago, Serena again does not participate in the tournament in Beijing due to injury.
