Puyol revealed that he was about to end his career 11.10.2012

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has revealed that he was about to end his career after a knee injury that prevented him from taking part in the European Championship in Ukraine and Poland.

"It was a very difficult moment for me. Even thought it was time to retire and put an end to career, "said Puyol.
