The Serbian soccer federation will be penalized by UEFA for racist chanting from the Serbian supporters during a playoff match between Serbia and England for the Euro 2013 rankings for youths up to 21 years.
England won with 1:0 away from home and with a total score of 2:0 qualified for the championship of the Old
continent next year. After the goal of Connor Wickham the fans from Serbia began to insult the British racially motivated and pouring terrain with different objects.
Seconds after the final whistle of the match dark-skinned Danny Rose demonstratively kicked the ball and get a red card. Rose justified the deed with racist insults from the audience.
"What happened is not good, and nothing to do with football. There were many racist insults from the stands during and after the game. They threw at us seats, stones and coins. I did not understand why the red card was shown to Danny Rose, "said the English youth international Jordan Henderson from Liverpool.
It is not yet known what penalties will require UEFA, but the football federation of Serbia apologized to the English players for the attitude of the fans.
