Ramos thanked to Casillas for the nomination 25.10.2012

Sergio Ramos thanked to his teammate at Real Madrid and the Spanish national team Iker Casillas for his nomination for the Golden Ball.

"I want to thank my great friend for his vote for the Golden Ball," said the 26 years old defender.

Casillas has placed first in his trio nominated Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo is the second and third Xavi Hernandez.

Ramos already has 97 appearances for the Spanish team, which is twice European champion and world champion in 2010 and Eurochampion for juniors up to 19 years in 2004.

With Real Madrid Sergio Ramos has three Spanish league titles, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cup.
