Tottenham wants severe penalties for the fans of Lazio

23.11.2012

Tottenham manager Andre Villa Boash insists UEFA to take disciplinary measures against Lazio fans. The reason is offensive anti-Semitic chants of the Italian supporters during the Europa League match.

Lazio has been fined £ 32.5000 for the actions of their fans during the first meeting between the two panels in London.

Andre Villa Boash said that he hoped UEFA to intervene in this scandal and speak about what happened at Stadio Olimpico.

The Italian team passed the group stage of Europa League after a 0:0 draw against Tottenham in Rome. The previous encounter between the two teams in London ended with the same result. A goalless draw was enough for the "sky-blue" to secure a ranking in elimination phase of the tournament. Tottenham will learn his fate in the final round of group J.
