Luiz Felipe Scolari is back at the head of the national team of Brazil, 10 years after guiding the club to the title of Mondial'2002.

From the Brazilian Football Federation said that Scolari will lead the team to Mondial'2014, which the country is hosting.

The 64 years old replaces Mano Menezesh, who was fired a few days ago.

Scolari, former coach of Chelsea and the national team of Portugal, is unemployed after leaving Palmeiras on Sept. 13.

The federation also announced that Carlos Alberto Parreira, who led Brazil to the 1994 World Cup title in the U.S., will work as a coordinator. Parreira led the five-time world champions and world football finals in 2006 in Germany.

"I wish good luck to my friends Parreira and Scolari," said the Brazilian star Romario.

Luiz Felipe Scolari has recently rejected offers to lead the national team of Russia and the Brazilian clubs Gremio and Cruzeiro.

The 64 years old coach said that he only wants to finish his career leading the national team in front of his home crowd in Brazil after two years.
