Ferdinand refused 300,000 per week to stay at United 9.01.2013

Rio Ferdinand is ready to sign a new contract with Manchester United, inform the media in England. Daily Star reports that the defender has already rejected several very attractive offers from other clubs to pursue a career at "Old Trafford".

According to the newspaper, Ferdinand refused threefold increase in salary and was able to negotiate for 300 000 pounds per week.
