Ignacio "Nacho" Montreal passed in Arsenal in the last minutes of the transfer window. Malaga will collect 12 million euros for the Spanish defender, plus bonuses for submission. Nacho's contract Montreal with the "Gunners" is to 2016, with an option for another season.
The defender, who has games for all national teams of Spain - adolescents, young and men - traveled to London on Thursday to pass the necessary medical tests, but to finalize the contract ended at the end of the transfer window.
Arsenal's interest in Montreal goes back for some time, as a the defender even teaches English at the beginning of this season, while continuing to play for Malaga. He expected to go into London team next summer, but the injury of Kieran Gibbs accelerate the transfer.
Nacho Montreal however could not help to Arsenal in the Champions League against Bayern Munich, because there are games in the tournament with Malaga.
