Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will miss the matches for the club and for his national team for the next three weeks, manager Arsene Wenger has revealed.

The 21-year-old Englishman missed the whole past season because of injuries in the ankle and the knee, before returning to the land in October 2012. In recent matches the talented midfielder revealed that he returned to his best form, but his latest injury pull him out of the accounts of the second leg from the Champions League against Bayern Munich and for the game with Swansea in the Premier League.

Wilshere will miss and the World Cup qualifiers of the "Three Lions" against San Marino and Montenegro later this month.

"Jack will be absent," said Wenger. "He has sprained his ankle, but not that because of which missed last season. Will not play in the next three weeks, which means it will not be online for the matches against Bayern and Swansea, as well as those of England, "added the Frenchman.
