Porto sold Joao Moutinyo in the summer 12.03.2013

Porto star Joao Moutinyo has concluded an oral agreement with the club management to be sold in the summer, Portuguese media reported.

The name of the playmaker never left the headlines in Britain before the start of the season as Manchester United and Tottenham were the two main candidates for his signature. The manager of "The Spurs" Andre Villa-Boash made a serious attempt to bring Moutinyo at the "White Hart Lane" in August, but the high cost of the 26-year-old failed transaction. Then the "dragons" demanded 40 million euros for the Portuguese and Villa-Boash called that price unrealistic.

But now Moutinyo has agreed with the president of Porto Pinto da Costa will be allowed to leave in the summer for a lot lower amount. As it is expected it comes about 22 million pounds.
