Ashley Cole misses the match against Montenegro 8.10.2013

England left-back Ashley Cole will not play in the World Cup qualifier against Montenegro on Friday, said the Football Association in the country.

The experienced defender was replaced quarter of an hour before the end of the match of his Chelsea against Liverpool on Sunday, obviously he was experiencing chest pains.

It turned out that the 32-year-old player has a problem in the ribs and had to pass further examinations today. In the end he decided not to leave the club in order to begin treatment.

It is not yet confirmed that Cole will miss another match at "Wembley" - against Poland on Tuesday. For his replacement was called Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal.
