Sidwell gets a new contract 25.10.2013

Steve Sidwell will probably get a new contract for two years because of his excellent performance with the team of Fulham.

The 30-year-old midfielder scored a wonderful goal in the win over Crystal Palace on Monday and the team bosses have decided to commit with a new contract.

The current contract of the midfielder is for another 8 months, so it is expected soon to begin negotiations between the player and the London team.

"Sidwell can stay for at least another two years, for example. We talked to him and offered him a contract for one year, but who knows what will happen," said Martin Jol.
