Punishment threatens Mexico for the behavior of the fans 19.06.2014

International Football Federation may impose penalties of Team Mexico because of improper conduct of their fans during the first match of the group stage of the World Cup 2014 against Cameroon, ITAR-TASS reported. The meeting was held on June 13th in Natal and finished 1:0 with a victory for Mexico.

During the match, the Mexican fans chanted offensive words.

As FIFA repeatedly pointed out the organization has zero tolerance of all forms of discrimination and racism. Currently, other teams are not under investigation for racism.

In the second match of the tournament Mexico finished 0:0 with the host Brazil and on June 24th will play against Croatia.
