The control between Germany and Israel is postponed 29.08.2014

The German Football Federation announced that the friendly match between Germany and Israel, scheduled for March 25th next year, will not take place. The reason is that on that date Israel wants to play the postponed European qualifier against Belgium.

The German football governing body announced that the decision was taken after a request from the country of Israel. European qualification between Israel and Belgium had to be held on Sept. 8th, but was postponed by UEFA for security reasons.

Last month, UEFA postponed all matches in Israel because of the conflict in the Gaza Strip
