The goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois of Chelsea has not received any consequences after the hard blow to the head that occur during the derby with Arsenal. Yesterday first announced Jose Mourinho, and today was officially confirmed by the club.
The Belgian international suffered a collision with Alexis Sanchez, as a little after get bleeding ear. Courtois was replaced by Petr Cech and then was sent to the hospital for detailed examination.
Initial expectations were that might have a concussion. Several experts opposed the decision of Mourinho not to let him to stay in the hospital for more examinations.
"All the studies have shown that Thibault has no consequences after the impact. It was a small incised wound on the ear and was treated and he was released for home treatment," said Chelsea.
Courtois will be able to join the national team of Belgium for the Euro qualification at the end of this week and early next. His recovery even is already practically completed.
